Mission statement.  The music directors and the board of PHIL held a strategic meeting in late August to discuss this year’s objectives.  We agreed on a mission statement:  “To support District 23’s music program administratively and financially so as to benefit the students who participate in its groups as a whole.”  This means that our efforts will focus on actions that benefit each band, choir, and orchestra in its entirety, and to make each group as strong and complete as it can be while giving every student the opportunity to participate at their own level.

WANTED: Concert Recording Volunteers!

One important area where we still need several volunteers is for Concert Recordings. Concerts will be recorded based on volunteer availability.  Please consider volunteering for this committee.
